Garden arches, entry arbors and trellises that frame a path, support climbing plants and add structure to the landscape.
An arbor says welcome. Set over a gate, a garden path or a bench, it frames the way forward and gives roses, wisteria and clematis something to climb. A trellis does the same on a wall or fence, adding height and green to flat spaces.
We build arbors and trellises from cedar and other durable woods or from metal, in arched, flat or gabled forms. We set posts deep enough to hold a mature vine, choose spacing for the plants you want and finish the wood to last. We also advise on which plants suit sun, shade and our local climate.
A full wisteria is heavy. We use stout posts and good joinery so the structure carries the vine for decades.
Arched tops, flat tops, gable roofs and lattice sides each give a different feel. We match the style to the house and garden.
Climbing roses, clematis, trumpet vine and jasmine each have different needs. We suggest plants that suit the light and your care level.
Arbors work over gates, paths, entries and seating. We position them for the view and for easy mowing and pruning access.

Good wood, sealed ends and proper post setting help it last for many years.
