Fabric canopies that roll out when you want shade and tuck away when you do not, mounted to the house or on their own frame.
Sometimes you want shade, and sometimes you want sky. A retractable canopy or awning gives you both. Extended, it blocks the hot sun and cools the patio and the rooms behind it. Retracted, it disappears against the wall or the frame and lets in the light.
We install wall-mounted retractable awnings and freestanding or pergola-mounted canopies, in manual or motorized versions. We choose fabrics that resist fading and mildew, set the pitch so water runs off, anchor into framing and wire the motor and sensors. We explain wind limits and show you how to retract it before storms.
An awning mounts to the house and extends over the patio. It is slim when retracted and works well where a permanent roof is not wanted.
A canopy on tracks fits inside a pergola frame, giving you shade that moves. It pairs well with a timber or aluminum structure.
Solution-dyed acrylic and similar fabrics resist fading and mildew. Colors and stripes can match or contrast with your house.
Retractable fabric is not meant to stay out in strong wind or heavy rain. Wind sensors can retract it automatically, and we explain the limits clearly.
