Comfort systems that make a pergola or covered patio usable in July heat and November chill.
Shade is only the start of comfort. A fan moves air and cools skin on a still day. A heater takes the edge off a cool night. A misting system lowers temperatures on the hottest afternoons. Together, they stretch the useful season for a patio from a few months to most of the year.
We plan and install damp-rated and wet-rated ceiling fans, radiant and infrared heaters and misting lines on pergolas and covered patios. We reinforce framing where needed, run power with qualified electricians and place equipment so it works well and looks tidy. Comfort equipment works best when it is matched to the space. We consider ceiling height, rafter spacing and the direction of the prevailing breeze when placing fans, and we keep heaters a safe distance from wood, fabric and plants. Misting lines are routed neatly along beams with filters that are easy to reach, so the system stays quiet, efficient and simple to maintain through the hottest weeks of the year.
Outdoor fans must be rated for damp or wet locations and mounted to solid framing. Size and blade span depend on the space. We set the height for airflow and safety.
Infrared and radiant heaters warm people directly. Gas and electric versions each need specific clearances and power or gas lines.
Fine mist cools the air by evaporation. A pump, filters and nozzles must be maintained, and we explain care so lines stay clear.
Fans and heaters add weight and need dedicated circuits. We build framing that carries them and plan wiring in advance.

You tell us about the yard, the timeline and any concerns, and we set a time to visit that fits your day.
We walk the yard, study the sun and the house, take measurements and draw a plan with sizes and materials.
We write the scope, coordinate permits and HOA approvals, locate utilities and prepare the site.
Footings are poured, posts set plumb and beams and rafters go up in a planned order.
We stain or paint, add lights and features as planned and clean the site thoroughly.
We walk the finished pergola with you, share care tips and leave you to enjoy the shade.
